Owner, Peter Groutage, undertook
an ambitious programme of restoration to bring back the Victorian
character of the building. There are five bedrooms in the former
coach house, four in the main Inn, and two newly built 'disabled-friendly'
rooms adjoining the courtyard. All have en-suite facilities.
Home cooked meals featuring local
produce and organic vegetables (when available) are offered in the
intimate restaurant which overlooks the garden and surrounding countryside.
The cosy bar, with its log fire and choice of local ales, is
very popular with locals and guests.
