The Hopton Arms, Ashperton, Near Ledbury

The Bar at The Hopton

The Hopton Arms has been carefully restored to create an authentic Victorian atmosphere. The original fireplaces, beams, doors, bar  counter, flooring and oak benches have all been renovated and reinstated.  No detail has been overlooked.  Wrought iron handles adorn heavy oak doors, fire baskets sit by inviting open fires and historic pictures, which had been hidden away, now have pride of place on the wood panelled walls.

In the bar visitors can enjoy one of the many local ales such as Parish Bitter or ciders such as Stowford Press – after all this is the heart of the hop and cider-apple county.  Of course all the usual wines, beers and spirits, including a selection of single malts are available.

Delicious bar snacks are served every lunch time and evening until 9.30pm. Children’s options are also available. A typical menu includes homemade Soup of the Day served with crusty rolls, Steak and Guinness pie, Sandwiches and Ploughman’s lunches.  Opening times are :-
