On fine days guests can wander outside and enjoy a peaceful drink in the attractive beer garden.

Younger visitors are sure to head for the carefully created play area shown here.  It is sensibly fenced off from the car park and well away from the road.  It features wooden adventure-style play equipment, with bark chippings on the ground, ready to cushion any tumbles.

For campers, there's a large field with space caravans/motorcaravans.  Facilities include 24 hour access to toilets & waste disposal and electric hook-up.
