Tim and his pals from Canon Frome Court will be pounding the beat at The Hopton. One quote from their website says “They don't usually dance on the tables like that....” - lets hope the tables can stand up to THE BLAST!!!! They played at the Hopton in June and the reception had to be seen to be believed to be seen. This is one NOT TO MISS

The sound has been described as "very mod…", "but has the potential to appeal to far more than that", in a review of the March 2006 demo tracks by Mod Radio UK, an internet radio station.

Friday 13th June - Jive-aholics

A Jumpin’ Jive / Swing / Party Band that has been put together through out the course of 2007.

Based in Monmouth this six piece band features; Drums, Bass, Keyboards, Guitar, Sax & Vocals.

Their repertoire includes; Louis Jordan, Brian Setzer, Cab Caloway, Louis Prima, Joe Jackson and others, featuring songs such as:

• Minnie the Moocher
• Jump, Jive & Wail
• Is you is (or is you ain’t my baby)
• Stray Cat Strut
• Just a Gigolo
• Zoot Suit Riot
• Tequila
• Ain’t Nobody Here but Us Chickens

Their performance is best described as "colourful, up beat, fun & high energy". Should be a great night!!

Friday 27th June - Clive John

If you like country music then you have probably already heard of Clive John – a superb singer-songwriter from Malvern who in recent years has built a strong fan base and following on the British country music scene.

Fast Food Fiasco, from Clive's album Purple Sky, recently made him a finalist in this year's UK Songwriting Contest in association with the BRIT Trust. He regularly performs at country music festivals up and down the country and recently spent time in New York where he developed a penchant towards songs that margin upon tales of broken love affairs, and disappointed relationships.

Clive has a rich, deep emotive voice that when combined with his own songs about life, love and loss, leaves the listener with a wonderful sense of enjoyment

Back again with their mixture of Rock n’ Roll, Dylan, Blues, R&B.
